So, these are some of the books that have been some of my favorites. I love biographies and real-life stories. I am currently reading "The Explicit Gospel" by Matt Chandler. I will post more on this book later, but I will say that this is one of the best books I've read in a long while. It speaks of what the true message of the Bible is regarding God, Man, the Fall, Christ, Redemption, etc... Being familiar with the things in the Church, you tend to become dull to hearing the raw truth that once saved you. This book is enlightening and encouraging. It helps you reflect on the Gospel from various perspectives and seeks to balance these perspectives appropriately. I would recommend this book to anyone willing to find what the true Christian Gospel really is.
